Routine office visits are by appointment only. You should call in advance so that we may reserve a specific time for you. Our telephone number is (803) 252-1953. Our office hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am to Noon and 1:30 to 4:00pm.

When calling please press "0" and inform the operator you would like to schedule an appointment. We make every effort to honor all time commitments but, on occasion, emergencies can cause delay in your scheduled appointment time. Whenever possible, we will keep you informed should this situation arise. If you will not be able to keep your scheduled appointment, we request the courtesy of sufficient notice so that other patients may be seen more promptly. If you do not notify us 24 hours prior to your appointment of your inability to keep your appointment you may be subject to a charge on your account.

Telephone Calls

Your calls are important to us and you may call regarding any aspect of your health care. Our voicemail system is designed to allow you to leave your message with the most appropriate staff member to assist you. Your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity, usually between 12:30-1:30 p.m. or at the end of the business day. If you have an emergency situation, please press "0" for the operator. Please review the following:

1. Please allow 7-10 days before calling about Laboratory results. Some physicians will only notify you if your results are abnormal.
2. Please do not wait until you are completely out of medicine to call for a prescription renewal as prescription renewals will be called to the pharmacy as time allows.
3. Prescription renewals are only made if your medical care is current.
4. Controlled substances cannot be called in after office hours or weekends.

After Hours and Emergency Calls

Our office provides a 24 hour a day answering service for emergent calls on weekends and holidays as well as between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. on weekdays. Medical emergencies will be handled by the on-call physician. Routine calls should be made during normal business hours. Please be advised after hours/weekend telephone medical management and prescription refills may be subject to a charge on your account.
